MFN
The MicroFinance Network (MFN) was founded in April 1993 by participants at the Micro Enterprise Conference organized by BancoSol
in Bolivia. The objective of the Network is to support self-sufficient microfinance institutions in order to provide microfinance services on an unprecedented scale and to expand the horizons of the microfinance industry. Currently, the MFN includes 38 members representing different regions of the world. |

The Armenia Village Operation (AVO) was established as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Armenia in 2005. AVO’s mission and the overall vision is to develop a strategy to contribute to the livelihood of the civil society in the most rural and vulnerable areas of Armenia. The mission is being fulfilled by: community development, income and employment generation, solidarity group micro lending to accomplish self sustainability. AVO is currently under the auspices of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America. |
