MDF-Kamurj Client Trade Fair 21 December, 2004

MDF-Kamurj hosted a Client Trade Fair on Tuesday, 21 December, 2004, to reward its “Star Clients” for their hard work. Each loan promoter nominated individual clients or client groups for various reasons ranging from perfect repayment records, highly motivating group coordinators or cashiers to loyal client who have been active with MDF-Kamurj since the CRS and Save the Children merger in 2000. In total, 70 clients were recognized.

With the New Year holiday in mind, the majority of trade fair items on display were handicraft items produced by MDF-Kamurj clients. These items included national dolls, artwork, toys, objects made from stone and clothing. Approximately 25 clients participated in displaying their products.

Also in attendance to acknowledge and congratulate the clients were US Ambassador to Armenia John Evans, Member of Parliament Hermine Naghdalyan, representatives of the founding organizations Save the Children and CRS, members of the MDF-Kamurj board and representatives from USAID. Local media covered the event.
